When I was a kid, I loved finding hand-written notes from my mom tucked into my lunchbox. They would usually be on my napkin accompanied by a little heart that she'd drawn. I've made it a habit to write those little notes to my kids as well, but when the first day of school rolled around, I thought it would be a fun surprise to change things up a bit -
A few strips of patterned paper, a couple of adhesive labels, Sharpies and VOILA! My kids thought their water bottles were "so cool" and wanted to use them again and again. It was super simple so I just thought I'd share a great way to brighten up your kiddos' lunches and send a special message at the same time.
